The atmospheric transfers modeling section for study of accidents consequences (BMCA, ex-BMTA) consists of 9 engineers and is headed by Damien Didier.
 
 

 

 

Context and research themes

 

Definition and development of IRSN atmospheric dispersion models and assessment of possible consequences:

  • continuous research, in collaboration with experts from scientific authorities,
  • development of models and computer-based tools,
  • studies and assessments for both IRSN and external entities.
