Summary

In this paper we propose a new diffuse interface model for the study of three components incompressible viscous flows. The model is based on the Cahn-Hilliard free energy approach. In particular, the free energy we consider is built in such a way that the model is wellposed and consistent with two components models. The hydrodynamic of the mixture is taken into account by coupling the Cahn-Hilliard system with a Navier-Stokes equation supplemented by capillary forces terms which account for the surface tensions between the components.
