Jad Walid Farah, a young researcher at the IRSN, honored with the first prize for young professionals at the 13th International Congress of the IRPA

Jad Walid Farah, a young researcher at the IRSNAt the 13th International Congress of IRPA, which was held in Glasgow from 13 to 18 May 2012, Jad Farah, a young researcher from IRSN received for his thesis first prize "Young Person Award” by Roger Coates, Conference Chair and Alfred Hefner, Chairman of the Scientific Committee. This thesis focuses on the development of a digital library of Mesh and NURBS female phantoms for pulmonary in vivo body counting studies.

The Congress grants the “Young Person Award” to the best paper presented by a Young Professional or Scientist with less than 10 years experience in the field of radiation protection and who has distinguished him or herself by  the scientific quality of research undertaken as well as the written article and the oral presentation.

The presentation of Jad Walid Farah is about the "Development of a library of Mesh and NURBS Female Phantoms for Pulmonary in Vivo Body Counting Studies.
