Résumé

The characterisation and calibration procedures, as applied in PERLA, for passive and active neutron devices are reported. The procedures have been recently improved to include the use of new reference instrumentation and certified reference materials, and the MCNP-PTA simulation code. The complete characterisation and calibration process is performed to allow a reliable determination of response functions by Monte-Carlo simulations. A verification of the instrumental constraints for the application of Hage's point model is also included in the procedures.
