The IPSN Fission Products programme co-funded by IPSN and COGEMA deals with the thermal absorption of the six main FPs, 103 Rh, 133 Cs, 143 Nd, 149 Sm, 152 Sm & 155 Gd. These FPs are selected because they are responsible for half the whole FPs credit in spent PWR fuels, and because they are stable, non gaseous. An extension of the programme has been studied with FPs of interest to assess the safety of the insoluble residues in the dissolution process, such as 95 Mo, 99 Tc, 101 Ru, 105 Pd & 108 Pd. Among these latter, only experiments with 95 Mo are retained. The programme has been already presented at Chelan [1] in 1997. It is shortly described thereafter and its status and advancement in the experimental field as well as in the calculation one are given. Experiments are carried out in Valduc Facility with the ‘Apparatus B’ which uses the subcritical approach technique.
