Nicolas Lecrux receives the Jacques Gaussen award for his work on AMANDE

Nicolas Lecrux, a student at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (CNAM) working at the Research Laboratory in External Dosimetry (DPHD/SDOS/LRDE), received the Jacques Gaussen award from the French Nuclear Energy Society (SFEN) for a study entitled "Definition of AMANDE accelerator neutron field monitors".

The award was presented on June 17, 2003 during the SFEN's national convention. The jury stressed the interest of such studies, which are helping to set up the new IRSN AMANDE facility dedicated to neutron dosimetry.

With this study, Nicolas Lecrux obtained his CNAM engineering diploma.
