The International Radiation Protection Association (IRPA) will hold its 13th congress int the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre of Glasgow, from 13th to 18th may 2012. It is possible to submitt abstracts, full papers and posters until 16th september 2011.

DoReMi training course - Pavia, Italy
DoReMi is a Euratom-funded Network of Excellence set up to promote European research into the risks of exposure to low doses of ionising radiation. In addition DoReMi facilitate training and education in order to help attract top-level students into the field. In this objective, DoReMi organises a training course "Modelling radiation effects from initial physical events" from 28th May to 13th June in Pavia. This training course is open to any postgraduate student or scientist working in an UE academic Institution.

EDCEH 2012 congress and training - Rennes, France
IRSET (Research Institute in Health, Environment and Work) and TOXALIM, the research center in food toxicology, co-organised the Eurpoean Doctoral College on Environment and Health (EDCEH) from next 4th to 6th June. This doctoral course opens to PhD students but also to academics and non academics people working in the field of environment and health. There will be four scientific sessions with national and international speakers, three posters sessions and six training workshops. Registration until 30th March 2012.

SFRP days on "Ecotoxicology, radioecology : inventory and prospections" - Paris, France
The Environment section and the Research & Health section of SFRP organise days so as to do a inventory of environment protection consideration in the nuclear industry, with ecotoxicology and radioecology angles. Several impact studies exemples in environment will be shown, as tools and methods used by specialists.

12th International Conference on Radiation Shielding (ICRS-12) / 17th Topical Meeting of the Radiation Protection and Shielding Division of the American Nuclear Society (RPSD-2012) - Nara, Japan
This conference will enable to come back on the circumstances of Fukushima accident the 11th march 2011 and to explore the scientific, technological and engineering issues associated with particle and ionizing radiation shielding in its broadest context, including nuclear energy systems, accelerator facilities, space and other radiation environments.

Ventilation 2012 - Paris, France
The 10th international conference on industrial ventilation, organised by INRS with IRSN will take place in Paris. It will permit all the specialists to show their research and development works and to compare their professionnal practices. The papers which can show research and development works are expected until 15th december 2011.

International Symposium on Biomedical Engineering and Medical Physics - Riga, Latvia
This symposium is being organized under the umbrella of the International Conference of Riga Technical University (RTU). It aims to emphasize the high role of academia in the modern economy and technical progress, as well as to assist in development and strengthening of international scientific, business and personal contacts and cooperation. 39th Annual Meeting ERR - Salerno, Italy
This meeting organised by the European Radiation Reasearch Society will take place in Italy from 15th to 19th October 2012. The conference will talk about radiation physics and chemistry, DNA damage and repair, biological dosimetry, radiation protection, radioecology and a lot of others radiation subjects. EURADOS school on Retrospective Dosimetry - Neuherberg, Germany
The European Radiation Dosimetry Group organise this school for scientists who are new in the field and those who want to deepen and widen their knowledge. It will give general and practical information on different physical and biological assays for dose assessment. The school will be composed of lectures, tutorials and practical exercises given by experts in the field.

The SFRP (French society of radiation safety) organises next 29th and 30th November eighteenth meeting of radiation safety competent persons. International Conference on Radiation Protection in Medicine - Bonn, Germany
The conference, organised by the IAEA (International Atomic Energy 
Agency) will deal with aspects of radiation protection related to the use of ionizing radiation. The main objectives of the conference are to identify tools for improving radiation protection in medicine, to indicate gaps in current approaches to radiation protection in medicine, to prepare new international recommendations taking account newer developments and to review advances, challenges and opportunities in the field of radiation protection in medicine.

Neudos12 Symposium - Aix-en-Provence, France
This symposium, organised by IRSN with IAEA and the EURADOS group will take place in Aix-en-Provence from 3rd to 7th June 2013. It will talk about subjects on neutron and ion dosimetry, thanks of exchanges between researchers, industry worldwide and regulatory authorities in radiation protection. The aim goal consists in sharing knowledge and experiences and also in promoting new ideas. Contributions (lectures and posters) must be sent before 9th November 2012

Symposium "Water-Rock Interaction" - Avignon, France
This symposium, which takes place every three years, will happen in 2013 in Avignon, from 9th to 14th June 2013. Organised by the IAGC (International Association of GeoChemistry), it will gather scientists to debate on progress in research on chemical and physics proccesses which control the composition of naturals water-rock systems, to analyse the impact of human intrusions and to propose scientifics contributions for the solution to the concrete problems in modern society. A scientific visit on Tournemire will be organized by the IRSN's LETIS after the symposium.
