The aim of the project PRIME, proposed by the IRSN, is to develop with the stakeholders i.e. the experts, the actors of the decision makers, the local actors and the inhabitants, a method to build a multicriteria decision tool based on the territorial specificities. This method will enable, in case of an accident, the managers concerned by radioactive risk to choose the appropriate strategy. The area chosen for the pilot study is a 50km (i.e. 31.07 mi) radius territory around the nuclear sites of Tricastin-Pierrelatte in the lower Valley of the Rhône (France).
