Résumé

In criticality studies, the bulk density of fissile media being generally unknown, density laws are needed to accurately determine the water content associated with the fissile media. They are applicable only on a determined range. Outside this range, the assessment of concentration values can be erroneous. Moreover, they do the link between two input parameters, the fissile nuclide density and the moderation ratio through the bulk density calculation.
